Model Year 2019 vehicles:

1-Year or 12,000-Mile (whichever comes first) Comprehensive Limited Warranty⁠

Model Year 2020 and newer vehicles:

2-Year or 24,000-Mile (whichever comes first) Comprehensive Limited Warranty⁠⁠

Electric Vehicles Model Year 2019 and newer:

3-Year or 36,000-Mile (whichever comes first) Comprehensive Limited Warranty⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠
Repairs covered by this limited warranty will be performed at no additional charge after a deductible of $50 per dealer visit. See owner’s literature or dealer for warranty exclusions and limitations.

What is covered within the CPO limited warranty?

Your Certified Pre-Owned vehicle’s warranty is begins as soon as you drive off the lot, or the new vehicle warranty (if still applicable) ends. Your vehicle will be covered for any repair to correct a defect in material or workmanship, except:
– Tires
– Paint Components
– Maintenance Service and Adjustments
– Wear and tear items
– Battery

And the great news? That peace of mind can now be expanded. Optional Volkswagen Drive Easy CPO Vehicle Service Protection delivers coverage up to 10 years or 150,000 miles. In addition, you’ll also receive roadside assistance, towing, rental car reimbursement, and trip interruption coverage, if needed.

We will guide you through our three available CPO Vehicle Service Protection plans to help you determine which level best suits your needs:

Powertrain coverage includes your vehicle’s engine, transmission, transaxle or transfer case, drive axles, and certain hybrid and electric components.
Gold coverage encompasses Powertrain coverage, plus front and rear suspension, climate control, fuel, electrical, and certain additional hybrid and electric components.
Platinum coverage includes all mechanical parts of your vehicle in the event of a mechanical breakdown unless they are specifically listed as “not covered” in your Customer Agreement (such as maintenance and cosmetic items).

A $50 deductible per covered repair visit applies.

Additional benefits:

  • You’ll receive genuine Volkswagen parts and service for your vehicle 
  • Nationwide service available at any authorized Volkswagen dealer or authorized service provider 
  • 24-hour roadside assistance benefits, including battery service, flat tire assistance, an emergency supply of fuel⁠, water and/or other fluid delivery, and lockout assistance 
  • Towing reimbursement of up to $100 to your nearest Volkswagen dealer or authorized service provider, if required due to a covered mechanical breakdown
  • Rental car reimbursement of up to $35 per day for up to 10 days if required due to a covered mechanical breakdown 
  • Trip interruption coverage of up to $200 per day for a maximum of five (5) days, if required due to a covered mechanical breakdown
  • Transferable for a fee if you sell your vehicle to a private party⁠
  • Cancelable at any time; subject to a fee after 30 days

Coverage exclusions may apply:⁠ 

  • Mechanical breakdowns covered by your vehicle’s manufacturer’s warranty 
  • Mechanical breakdowns caused by accident, collision, vandalism, or weather-related conditions
  • Mechanical breakdowns caused by lack of maintenance or pre-existing conditions
