Help us in congratulating our newest Volkswagen Master Technician – Howard Diedrick! Howard has been with us for the last two years, building his technician portfolio and bringing his amazing skills to our Service Team. What is a Volkswagen Master Technician? A Master Tech is someone who dedicates 520 long hours of Volkswagen specific training to certify the technician, covering every repair scenario of a Volkswagen vehicle. The process begins by learning every major repair of the Volkswagen fleet and developing extensive diagnosis skills. Warranty knowledge, electrical systems, and safety assemblies are all part of the Certification Process. From here, topics of training get more advanced, such as transmission solutions and engine modules. The VW Master Technician will go through several advanced topics and scenarios before graduating the course and receiving their title.

When an employee takes the initiative to go through such an intense training to earn Master Technician status, it really sets the dealership apart from other local Service Departments. Their job delivers a huge level of knowledge as well as high quality-level care of your Volkswagen.
